Offering a “more environmentally sound bath amenity solution”—ie, no more single-use and, when the bigger bottles are done, there is a recycling strategy in place via Clean the World—the new MALIN+GOETZ for Ciel Spa collection will roll out in guest rooms in full by March.
The collaboration is the first time that the New York–based skin care and fragrance company has partnered with a hospitality collective to produce a unique packaging and fragrance assortment (this one starts with the line’s popular bergamot fragrance).
“We are thrilled that this new collection is launching at what now feels like the perfect time,” says Michele Caniato, Chief Partnerships Officer, Ennismore & EVP of Brand Marketing. “The health and safety of our guests has always been a priority, but coming out of COVID specifically, that priority has been heightened. The 400ml large format dispensers of the MALIN+GOETZ for Ciel Spa products will be available in all guest bathrooms, replacing single use 50ml bath amenities, which often required replenishment multiple times throughout each guest’s stay. For a safer and more hygienic travel experience, bottles will not be refillable to ensure the quality and efficacy of the product.”
Plus, Caniato says, guests are on the lookout for new skin-care and beauty products to experience when they come to the hotels. “The future is about bringing our guests products that elevate the guest journey during their stay with us from a wellness and recovery point of view, and of course bringing them moments of ‘delight’ and ‘surprise’.” We continue to seek partners that are leaders in their fields, to bring the best of the best to our guests.”
